We are a family business, started in 2008 after 18 years in the woodworking trade; offering service, repair, installation and commissioning of CNC machine centres.

CNC Assist LTD covers the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Based in Bristol we have a good local customer base, but we are more than happy to support or travel to customers further afield who may require specialist knowledge of SCM Group CNC machines.

Our engineers are experienced in multi-skilled fault finding techniques, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and logic disciplines.

With high production background experience, our engineers understand that machine downtime can be very costly. We work with all our customers to help reduce unnecessary downtime and will always work hard to react if and when a customer experiences an unexpected failure in machine operation.

We believe it is as important to understand the customer needs as it is to understand the machines they are using.

Dave Hudson

Managing Director
Dave has over 30 years experience in the woodworking industry. His woodworking experience covers flat panel production, processing and finishing as well as joinery product manufacture on CNC machinery. Most will recognise Dave from his connection to SCM Group UK, and will be aware of the good reputation he gained while applying his knowledge, skills, and good customer care practice, to daily problems.

Luke Hudson

Engineer
Luke has spent over 10 years working with CNC machines for a local engraving company, in a high pressure production environment. Following in the family footsteps Luke is now training as a CNC multicentre engineer in the woodworking industry, he prides himself on providing and efficient and friendly service for his clients.
